Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) Continues Its Mission to Promote Industry Standards in Healthcare Laundry Facilities

September 15th — The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) has remained committed to its mission of educating the healthcare industry about the critical importance of upholding industry standards in healthcare laundry facilities. Following a successful presence at the APIC 2023 conference, HLAC seized the opportunity to collaborate with local chapters, further advancing its mission.

During a recent engagement, HLAC’s President, Rocco Romeo, addressed the South Carolina Regional Chapter, delivering an insightful presentation that highlighted the core principles and objectives of HLAC. Mr. Romeo’s presentation covered a range of key topics, including:

  4. The Role of Infection Preventionists: Addressing the pivotal role played by Infection Preventionists in maintaining the integrity of healthcare linen and ensuring the safety of patients and healthcare workers.
